Upstairs Downstairs

After a very long and complicated day, a belated long drive north to Weston Park in Staffordshire. It is a privilege to be staying overnight in such a beautiful stately home. My room for the night is near the top of the house, and I was shown the way there by the butler, so it’s very definitely more Upstairs than Downstairs. Tomorrow we will be driving the new SsangYong Rexton, an impressive semicircle of which surrounded the entrance to the house as I arrived. Now for some sleep!
