All in all it's just another

So today I was driving to work and I spotted these builders who had dug up a neighbours driveway and had all the slabs piled up on the.pavement.

I nipped out the car and and said 'you getting rid of these'

'Yup' says main builder ....

Can I have ten? Says me

Hmm says man. Okay. And we agreed a price

There then followed some slapstick whilst I ran to shop to get money and he went to shop to get roll.... and I ran to house to get bit of paper...

Anyways i tells himself and says 'tell me if they dropped them off (yeah I negotiated delivery too)... he didn't text so I prepared myself to do battle... but when I got home...

Himself is standing sweating in front garden... points at remaining five slabs and says 'I've moved my five. These are yours'

Aye. That'll be right!
