The Tawny Owl and the Honeycomb

I found a sleeping Tawny Owl in our local park - hiding in full view of everyone.  I'm not sure if anyone had spotted it before me but I made sure I told everyone I could see :-)

Just a few minutes later I then found a colony of bees and was able to see the honeycomb in a hollow in a tree trunk ( added as an Extra)

The most interesting 30 minutes I've had in a long while
