It’s that time of year

When I return from Italy it seems it is already Halloween and Christmas in Britain. I bought my Christmas cards at the weekend, all that remains to do is add addresses to the envelopes, stamps and pop them in the post, then it will be 2018 already!

In fact I hear fireworks being set off outside at this very minute (yes true), perhaps I have been asleep and this is the first minute of 2018. I wonder where the autumn went. When I visit the shops next time perhaps I will be seeing Easter Eggs and the arrival of the summer fashions.
