The light was against me at Brimham Rocks this morning ......... it was either going to be a featureless sky or silhouetted rocks. I went for the latter.  The cloud was clearing to give a blue sky as we were leaving.

We returned to the cottage for lunch to find the window cleaners at work. No sooner had we sat down to eat than there was a knock on the door. It was the chimney sweep! 

We enjoyed a walk around Fountains Abbey (and an ice cream) in the afternoon.
