Holding Out For A Hero

Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

It was a mixed day. I went to see my Granny in her nursing home which despite the best efforts of the staff, is not a happy place. Eldest Mini Princess commented that it is like a black rain cloud hangs permanently over the building. I have huge huge admiration for the care workers and nurses who maintain their humanity as it seems to ebb away from so many of the people they are caring for.

The Prince was out in the evening and the Mini Princesses and I watched The Way Way Back. It is described as a ‘coming of age’ film but it is laugh out loud and achingly poignant with an awesome soundtrack. Both Princesses liked it and Eldest Mini Princess said it was one of her favourite films ever.

It’s the second time I have had a fab evening watching that film*
