Fairy Caves

Impressed myself by being up and out for a 9am start at the local Parkrun. Even more impressed by the runners who took a dip in Windermere at the end of the run. It looked tempting but not enough.
The party house heading off for different activities - one gang of ultra runners were off for a long mountain run. We headed off to visit a friend living locally and then a meet up to visit some quarry caves. We passed a house that we had looked at for a business some 25 years ago. How things could have been different.
The evening was filled with birthday celebrations which included fireball football. Best not report the details of that.
