Cousins....

More rain this morning. I drove up to the Taylor Dam hoping to walk Maisie there. I was just in time to see Council contractors locking up the access gate to the Taylor Dam Reserve. The lake is starting to flood after rain from the south-east quarter has fed flood waters into the upper Taylor catchment. Thus the Taylor River will running a flood further downstream. So Maisie and I walked a different route.
This afternoon Granddaughter Emily returned from Picton after a sleep-over at her cousins’ home. Cousin Ella, on the left in this image, is staying overnight here. It has been a miserable day for outdoor activities so the girls have settled down to watch a movie on Emily’s laptop. They are easily entertained!
