Heading out from the Start
It has been the Individual Day of the Junior Home Internationals on the hill and moorland that is Gwanas. An exciting day of mixed fortune for the athletes but much fun and comradeship across the teams. The day ended with England in first place in front of Scotland by just seven points, so much to play for tomorrow in the Relay event.
There was mist hugging the moors and this made for tough navigation. Here is one of our early starters, 18 year old Finn, heading out from the start to have a good run.
