Port of Milwaukee....
We had more rain last evening, which is a good thing as we've had an exceptionally dry summer, but the sun was out this morning and it's been an exceptionally fine Autumn day! Tom had the last of his "round 2" chemo this morning, and on the way home from the hospital we decided to stop at the Port of Milwaukee to look for a blip; it's a very industrial area where cargo being shipped on the Great Lakes is loaded on and off ships, as well as being home to some manufacturing plants, & it sits on a piece of land that's between the Milwaukee River and Lake Michigan. Due to last nights' rain, there were some really large puddles, and I loved the bright blues in this, as well as the reflected buildings. If you look to the far left, there's a tiny sliver of the river visible, and the building with the turquoise-colored front on the left edge of the picture is the University of Wisconsins' School of Freshwater Science.
