Stillness and joy.
We were going to go after carp but that venue was full and, if truth be told, dull and uninspiring so the Glos - Sharpness Canal at Purton it was, and what a wonderful day we had. It's been ages since I sat on the bank of a canal a accrued a netful of silver fish but this was a delight. Roach, Bream, Perch and marauding Pike nicking one of Dad's haul made it a day to remember for sure. I doubt I'll wait seven years until the next time.
