Wells Food Fair

We met up with my sister and brother-in-law in Wells this morning for the city's annual Food Fair. There were food stalls all around the market square, the Bishop's Palace moat and the adjacent park and it was extremely popular.

There were so many different cultures' cuisines represented that it was difficult to choose what to have for lunch; inthe end, we went for shashlyk from a Russian stall which was delicious, washed down with some real ale in the warm Autumn sunshine.

As well as food, there was plenty of musical entertainment, including this colourful troupe of clog dancers.
