Marathon Runner

Please forgive me if I blow my own trumpet a bit loud but today I managed to become a bona fide marathon runner.
A beautiful morning on Kielder Reservoir with warming sun and no wind. The route was undulating all the way round with very little flat. I thought 4hrs would be ambitious on this course for my 1st Marathon, but at 23 miles I realised I might be well under...with a drag over the finish line, I crossed in 3hr54min. Very pleased indeed.
