Our two local FA Women's Premier League North teams went head to head at Nethermoor, with Guiseley Vixens hosting Bradford City.

City took an early lead with a spectacular long-range strike from Charlotte Stuart. Guiseley grew into the match and scored twice to lead at the break. City equalised mid way through the second half, and it could have gone either way but a draw seemed about right.

Given the hours between trains on a Sunday I stretched my legs with a walk home over the fields via Hawksworth and Tong Park. There was a Cormorant on the dam.

I'm off to Cardiff in the morning for what should be a tense match between Wales and Ireland in the final game of their World Cup Qualifying group. My brain is already hurting with all the permutations...
