Pittenweem then Anstruther
Another bright day :-)
Decided to spent the morning in Pittenweem.
Got the key for St Fillan's from the Cocoa Tree Cafe and headed for the cave for an explore.
Quite an extensive cave and today it is a shrine to the memory of St Fillan and to the people of Pittenweem who have lived and worked here over the centuries.I did like the very colourful painting of St Fillan and St Adrian.
After lunch at the Cocoa Tree cafe we walked along the coastal path to Anstruther for a visit to the Scottish Fisheries museum.
Which is an excellent little museum.
My extras show some sights I spotted around Anstruther.
I particularly liked the the rather derelict looking building which had a sign in the window which read 'This House Isn't Empty. It's Full of Dreams'.
