A Surprising Shrine

Spirit houses are a common sight in Thailand. Every house or building has its own. This one with the giant phalluses is less conventional. It is dedicated to Chao Mae Tuptim (Goddess Tuptim Shrine) and stands by a Ficus tree that used to protect a house that has now disappeared.
