Obsolete

Went to the craft fair in the village hall and was really impressed with the stalls and the wonderful things on sale.  Very professional, such high quality, all branded with the sellers logos, lots of pretty bags and tags.  I spoke to some of the makers and they have embroidery machines, fancy printers, laser cutters, all sorts of specialist tools and the internet at their fingertips. A far cry from the old craft fairs when everything looked hand made and a bit rustic!  

Lots of people asked me why I didn't have a stall.  I'm glad I didn't!  My days of doing them have past, time for the next generation to do their thing!  Like this pound coin saving canister, I am feeling a little obsolete!  It belonged to my granda and I have always used it since I got it, but now the new £1 coins don't fit in it.  A bit of a shame, it was always a nice feeling when it was full!
