The last time a day like today occurred... I was six. Gareth Bale, that rather talented feller on the left of the team, was six months old.

For the first time in twenty-three years Spurs managed to beat Man Utd at Old Trafford, and by God what a way to do it. A two-goal lead in the first half, three goals in two minutes in the second, and standing firm against the onslaught 'til the end.

Almost a shame that Sir Alex of United had a wee rant afterward about there only being four minutes of injury time. He's quoted as saying: "They gave us four minutes, that's an insult to the game. It denies you a proper chance to win a football match."

I'd just like to point out that it was enough time for Spurs to win in though.
