Fish of the day

The weather was crisp with a fresh southerly and not a lot of heat. Those long johns with the built in air conditioning holes weren't that helpful. I should have packed the fishing fleecy trousers. I was wearing around 1200 layers. It was cold but not as cold as yesterday.

I had a good morning on Lake Aviemore including a fair old battle with this rainbow who tipped the scales a tad under 6lb. A lean day yesterday and I returned a rainbow and a brown, today I took a couple and returned the rest.

There was plenty of banter from the boys but I give as good as I get ;-)
