Wide open space

The McKenzie basin is indeed wide open space and not many cars at around 7pm on a Wednesday evening near Twizel.

It makes for a big day to start and finish work early, go home, finish pack, take the pope to the slammer, and head south. But it's worth it to be at my destination beside Lake Benmore before dark.

It's a beautiful mild spring day and tomorrow I fish :-)
