Its a dull overcast day today with the sky hazy and it's not worthwhile looking outside for a shot. 
Looking at Bathurst race on TV. It's absolutely belting down and cars are lapping at slow speeds. Unfortunately not raining here.
Thought I would photograph a pair of my favourite items for combatting the harsh Australian sun, my Cattleman Akubra and polarised sunnies. The hat is an Australian legend and is manufactured from rabbit fur. Several American Presidents have been presented with the Akubra on their visit to Australia. They are still made in Australia and not a "made in China" product thank goodness. However the rabbit fur is sourced from Russia which is not widely known here in Aussie.
The polaroids assist me in cutting the glare when driving and help in seeing fish when fly fishing.
