We went over to the beach today so our daughter's family could have some time to play in the waves.  Tropical storm Nate is churning up the water, even here in Sarasota, several hundred miles away.  The Gulf of Mexico is usually fairly flat with very little wave action, but today was crazy!  Besides the waves, it was a king tide, meaning the highest of the high tides at 2:48 p.m., so that was amazing to see.  Took this shot of Colin splashing through a wave.....tricky business, trying to get shots of the kids in the waves, but fun to try!
