So the ear-ring thing has not worked out...Anna has had to take them out to play netball before the required 6 weeks and one of the holes has completely closed. Went back to the shop to see if there was any hope for it but despite their best efforts sadly it is not to be. So we need to wait until we can have a 6 week period without netball. Possibly when she’s around 37.
I think the relief of not having the pain of someone stabbing your ear where there isn’t really a hole and making a decision was enormous for Anna but just to make sure she was okay we got a red velvet doughnut from the stand outside. And snapped this sign - largely for Carl’s benefit but no reason you should have to miss out on such hilarity.
I did think I’d be posting pictures from the morning Homework Club which was surprisingly lively and entertaining. Before that Carl and I had taken Albi on a really lovely dog walk which had continued the sociable theme of yesterday as we seemed to bump into almost everyone we know in Chiswick. And being the great networker she is Albi got us to meet some that we didn’t as well.
For the 6th day in a row I have walked more than 20,000 steps so a bath and a chilled out evening with a book have been very welcome.
Now I just have to try and not humiliate myself on a computer driving game and all will be well.
