Little Miss Greenfinch

Grey, wet and windy today, so the birds clustered round the feeding station, and the only photos I took were through the window. I thought this female greenfinch (Carduelis chloris) looked very gentle, hence my title. The braver boys were on the ground - robin* and goldfinch in my Extra.

*Of course, the robin could be female, but he seemed too bold.
