The Web

I had to mail a couple things and also put the notice to hold our mail while we are gone so I walked out in the misty rain to the mailbox which is a little ways from the house.   Then I had to walk (jog!) back to the house to get the camera because this giant web was sparkling the drops of water.   It was attached to the back of the mailbox and then spread out toward the trees which are about 20 feet away.   I think the web was probably over 3 feet wide.  It was just gorgeous!

I was glad to get wet and also glad I had a little camera rain bonnet to cover the camera.  It works really well!   

Packing for our trip is in full force mode.   Clothes are done and ready to load, food I am taking also.  The snack bag (most important) is packed! The dog bag is packed.   The only thing left is the cold food which I will pack in the morning.    It is not easy to pack for leaving home for six weeks!    I think I have it under control!
