Houton Head and Hoy High

Good to be back hone after a busy and enjoyable fortnight sooth.  I had a hospital appointment in Aberdeen, then a CMD Conference, and Alison and I both had appointments with the optician in Blairgowrie.  We enjoyed staying with Andrew, Annie and Molly, and then with Lynne and Graham and spending time with Ailsa, Freya and Nuala.  On the way back north we spent a couple of nights in Lairg and enjoyed exploring the wilds of Sutherland before a bumpy trip across the Pentland Firth on Thursday night.  Back out on my "usual" walk this afternoon, with the familiar view down Scapa Flow.
