The redoubtable Dina
Our last night in Italy, given a bed for the night by Dina, the mother of an Anglo-Italian friend of C's.
At nearly 80, she rides a motorbike down to the village every day to get breakfast at an amazing cafe, where she disdains the other regulars as "living in the past".
I got another dose of the focaccia dunked in capuccino.
Happy but desperate for a ride. Let's see if I get up in the morning..
