DAMN INTRUDERS....

... seem to be an afternoon of "intrusion" down at the dam!

Finally some cloud but still no rain, and as I arrived down to the dam late, found this Pelican having a quiet scratch on this tyre protruding up in the water. 
Then up popped this shag trying to get the pelican off the perch... after a little bit of banter of course the pelican won and went back to scratching.

As I left a kookaburra flew onto a nearby lamp post, and as I set the camera, in swooped a willie wagtail and proceeded to really give the Kooka a hurry on! Check out the sequence of shots on Flickr here.
