Sidmouth, Donkeys and Beer

We decided to head to Sidmouth for some more sea air, more lovely Autumn weather and a stroll along the beach into Sidmouth. We rather like Sidmouth, it's a sort of gentle town somehow.

We then went on to the Donkey Sanctuary, one of my very favourite places, just love Donkeys! We had a cuppa and a scone in their new cafe. They are doing huge works updating the visitor centre, I'm sure it'll look amazing, the cafe does, but it has lost its homely feel.

We then travelled on to Beer where we did another beach walk and Ted swam, the water was very clear there were no huge waves so he was a brave boy and went in. He's not usually that bothered about the sea as he hates the waves!

Finally we had our tea at the Anchor Inn at Beer, it was warm enough to sit in the garden and have a sea view.
