This photo does not reveal that there are five groups of students working in teams to dissect an article to find it's main point and then find its subpoints. Then they will have the homework of creating a summary.

Writing faculty also have the duty of teaching "reading." All my students can read, but most of them do not know how to find the "gold" in an article or in the chapter of a book.
