I shower off the whisky and wind up my laptop. Gáspár and we schedule a time to go through Lisa and Gojko review comments. Not for another two weeks.

I pack my bag and go down for breakfast. I join Kate at a table and we have a wonderful, early morning conversation. I probably shouldn't have had the cooked option, but the pull of poached egg and black pudding was just too strong.

More calls punctuate the day, and I have a couple of good conversations with Matt. So, I don't make it to another track session, but profit from chance meetings in the corridor.

I pick Claire up at Waverley and we drive to the airport. There's time for a bite to eat and a couple of glasses of wine before the flight. We arrive in a dark, warm London and take the DLR/tube to the flat.
