Birthday treats.....

.....for my mum, whose birthday was yesterday. 

Yesterday it was cake, gifts and flowers, today it was brunch out and movies.

It was really nice for mum, E and I to sit and chat over coffee's and delicious meals before moving on to see the movie Victoria and Abdul which we absolutely loved and thoroughly recommend if you haven't already seen it.

Mum had no idea what we would be doing today, so a surprise for her and one she really enjoyed, although we did miss A who was unable to come home.

The lovely bouquet of flowers were from my brother and his family, the lilies are divine, just adore the rich red.

I've spent rather too long getting this collage together, certainly not my strong point but nice to put some memories together.

Thanks to everyone who sent birthday wishes yesterday, mum (walkingS) was delighted! Although not blipping at present she does enjoy stopping by on some special journals admiring the photography and enjoying your words :)

Saturday....brought birthday treats and surprises. Weather was miserable, wet and cold but spirits were high as we were 'out and about'
