Quick, Where's My Camera?

The blinds were drawn when I shuffled into the kitchen in search of my magic dark brown elixir, but I could see vivid red light through the gaps. I knew from experience that the spectacle would be changing rapidly, so I dashed to the garage to get my camera.

When I turned the camera on, I saw the battery was dead. Luckily, I had a fully charged spare at hand, and a couple of minutes later I was on the porch in my nightshirt, with a couple of photos in the bag.
