Two of a Kind

Two new flowers just beginning to open.  The best is yet to come.

Took the day at a slower pace today, although a session of weed clearance before lunch might have worked off one or two calories.  Main aim is to reduce the places which shelter slugs and snails around the bulb frames.  Still collecting seed from various plants and bulbs around the garden, this afternoon I was shaking lily seeds from their winged capsules.  There's a mix of good seed and 'chaff' to start with, a gentle puff of breath across them lifts and disperses the chaff, leaving the good seed behind.

Tonight Jamie went to youth club and I enjoyed a very good evening off :-)
