No work for 9 days! Eek!

Up to London for the weekend with G. Our first stop was the new Design Museum, we were both very impressed with the building. We spent a while in the California exhibition (not free, but the only gallery of 5 that we paid for all weekend so not too bad).

After that we were starving so bought a picnic and ate in Holland Park (tooooo many cute dogs), then back in to see the permanent exhibitions.

We managed to get to Tate Britain about half an hour before closing time to see Rachel Whiteread - which meant it was fairly quiet and quite enjoyable. The exhibition was really good, as I expected.

We were staying with Naomi in Upper Holloway - when we arrived she’d cooked us a delicious dinner (and a vegan lemon cake for pudding) despite having arrived home from New York at 7am. What a trooper.
