More Happiness

I awoke to another gorgeous sunny day, so I hurried back to Lenape in hopes of spotting the blue bird of happiness. He did not disappoint!

I wasn't alone in my quest as a birder carrying a super-duper telephoto (a 150mm-500mm Sigma) was also trying to capture him.

We chatted awhile as we roamed the perimeter of the field. He let me try out the lens which was surprisingly light weight, and I'm laughing here the bluebird loomed large in the first tree I zoomed in on!

"There he is! I see him!"

"Take a picture!" he cried. I handed the unit back to him as I know nothing about the workings of a Sigma lens, nor a Canon for that matter, but I'll have plenty of time to learn, since my very own Sigma super duper is scheduled to be delivered on Wednesday! Talk about a small world!

My backyard butterfly bush is being visited by three Monarchs, a few skippers and a Painted Lady.
