Fungus

I went to Highgate Common today, for a walk, photography, and to buy some compost from Sandiacre, but early in the walk I saw a lot of vandalised fungus. A search found this intact one though. It is about the time for fungus, so I think I should be looking for more, and rather more interesting ones! I really didn't have the most appropriate tripod with me, so the angle is not perfect, even though I spent quite a lot of time over the shot.
