Smiley Venetian dog

Leaving Venice this morning I spotted this little dog out for his morning walk just as we were about to board the water-bus for the airport.
 
In a flash I had my iphone out.
Incidentally, conventional cameras are a rare sight in Venice these days.
 
It is easy to see why: the smartphone is not only quickly accessible but less intimidating to people.
