No call to prayer to start my day today. An owl instead. That was about 5am - mini jet lag with the 2 hour time difference.

It all went quite well, in the circumstances, but busy.

So, will May last until next week?

She inherited a real mess from Cameron, and managed to make it much worse.  Any of the names being touted to replace her would just be "more of the same", although in theory a new incumbent could more easily go to Brussels, admit it was all a dreadful mistake and beg to be forgiven. None of them have anything near that kind of backbone, of course.

Meanwhile Scotland enjoys the show, eats its popcorn, and waits for the right moment.
