Would you believe it?

This little pendant has been missing for 9 years!! It s my Mother's and I wanted to wear it on my wedding day but Mama couldn't t find it - she has a habit of hiding jewellery all over the house so I assumed it was somewhere odd - since then they ve moved house and I had to come to terms with the fact that we d never find it ( short of tearing up the floorboards ) but there are new tenants in their cottage ; I had even contemplated asking them to look out for it.
Today Mama wanted to clear out her cosmetics drawer- I was sorting through a basket with old hair grips, odd make up brushes, nail files and would you believe it - THERE IT BE ... Whoop of delight from me !! It s now in a safer place... phew
