An odd day

Two days ago we heard that our buyers had withdrawn their offer. Why we do not know as we had observed the same day that their own house had sold. It was not the best day of our holiday so far.

Today I am able to say "well, stuff 'em". Yes, another offer came in and put a whole new complexion on matters.

As if to confirm things, after a grey wet miserable day, the sun came out this evening for our walk.

I am taking each day as it comes. Many a slip and all that.
