It's a Brummy kinda morning

Up at 3:30am.
Heart wrenched at 4:20 by mutt who didn't want me to leave.
Cursing gps, valet parking directions and night driving at 5:10
At 5:20, thanking God that the airline decided I could be checked in despite being on the wrong side of the 40mins gate closure time
Sprinting to the gate at 5:23
Begging numerous people to let me jump past them at security at 5:25
Jolly banter with Swiss customers man/ sweating like a pig at 5:45
Queuing for boarding at 5:48
Landed at BHX as a prelude to my b'day visit to Nottm (aka original home) and big US road trip adventure 06:55
