The Hoverfly Has Landed.

In a small sheltered spot we found this thistle-type flower still looking fresh and a hoverfly stopped in for a quick drink of nectar.
We were a shade disappointed this morning to find that our usual route round the wood was closed to allow the tree fellers to complete their work. However we had a good little stroll near Argaty later when we saw this hoverfly.
We also managed to get the grass cut and a big pot of soup made before the rain returned so again we have had a reasonably busy day.
That's the rain on yet again so it will be feet up and check the TV listings now. Happy Monday, everyone!
