Star Flyer - South Bank

Six weeks ago, back in August, some of you questioned my excuses for not going on the Star Flyer.

Well today the queue was virtually non-existent, so I paid my fare and jumped on. Despite the fact that the ride was level with the roof of County Hall it seemed pretty tame. Everything was dwarfed by the sheer size of the Coca Cola Eye.

I had dinner in the rooftop restaurant at the OXO Tower as recommended by fellow blippers - the view from the restaurant is shown in the extra.

I also visited the Imperial War Museum and on the way back stumbled across the Leake Street Art Tunnel which runs beneath Waterloo Station. (see extra).
