Glastonbury Tor

We walked from our camp into Glastonbury via the Tor. Lots of up! The views from the top were wonderful.

We then made our way down and walked around the outskirts of Glastonbury and eventually into the town for a late lunch with a well earned pint.

We visited the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey, very peaceful place. The brought our tea from the Co-op and walked back to the campsite, tired and weary but in a good way. Nearly 10 miles walked in all.

The Tor punctuated our day as we caught glimpses of it all around the walk, an imposing feature indeed.
