Late afternoon sun

Always like the long shadows across the beach on my way to football at this time of year - such striking patterns. After last week's failure to get on the scoresheet I managed to get one pretty quickly this time, once I finished my stint in goal. A quick bit of anticipation to get to a loose ball before the defenders. Better still I found space to turn in a great cross from N for a second and then provided the assist for another goal in quick succession. Unfortunately, as quickly as we scored goals at one end, we were conceding them at the other so the game remained tight. Managed a particularly pleasing pass to release S in to score and he returned the compliment seconds later by intercepting their goalkeeper's clearance and passing to me right in front of goal for my third. I found space for a cross onto D's head for our last goal, which despite them pulling back to just one down, was enough for the win - an excellent game!
