Looking smarter

After spending a couple of months skulking in the hedgerows and making a few bedraggled appearances, our birds are beginning to look livelier and smarter. They are feeding themselves up and looking sleeker and plumper; getting ready for the winter.

Today the feeders were very busy with finches, Blue Tits, Great Tits etc. and there were several Coal Tits, spending a lot of time amongst the undergrowth, but looking much healthier than they did a few months ago.
