Hangin' around

Today was my first boat ride in the river this year. Hard to believe we have let the summer go by and never took the time to fish the river. No fishing today either. I wanted a picture of the base where I used to work from the water for a friend of mine who is retiring soon. Though it would make a nice gift. We'll see.
The pelicans are still around. They should be heading south soon. Hope they enjoyed their time on the river this summer a little more than we did.
