Great spotted woodpecker

At Waterston House, just outside Aberlady, where T and I went to see an exhibition of wildlife paintings by Keith Brockie. We went back in the evening for a talk about pink-footed geese, after which we watched as literally thousands of geese came into Aberlady Bay to roost. I didn't expect much from my photos which were dots of black in the sky. The more geese there were, the smaller the dots!
