Heart of Darkness

My morning started like this: 
Early up, dress in posh business clothes, walk dog through pouring rain to the dog sitter, get on train, ride train for two hours towards destination to have a meeting there, 5 min before rolling into station get a phone call that the meeting is cancelled. Get next train back and proceed for two hours to return to starting point and collect dog. 
Doh. Second time that that meeting is cancelled, but I already got a date for the third attempt. Hooray.
